I created three book covers based on the design requirements of the ‘Penguin' book publishing company. I researched the content of the books in depth to ensure that the cover designs accurately conveyed the core spirit of the work, making the covers not only appealing but also guiding the reader to explore the story in depth.

John Murry Book Cover Design
By learning more about the book, I found a flower that could be a metaphor for the characters in the book.
Rosa × fortuneana is the flower of death, representing a period of life that is about to die while at the same time nurturing new hope, and each petal carries a deep emotion. This has also become the subjective inspiration in my design. At the same time, I used colours that are generally more saturated to highlight ‘hope’ and add more meaning to the design.
